In 2011 Viceroys Retail Construction was founded by Mart and Jon ten Hove and in 2014 Nejc Hribar stepped in. We believed that our skills and expertise, combined with the principles of accountability, integrity, innovation and professionalism would make a success of any retail project.
Jon ten Hove started his career in the yachting industry as interior carpenter for luxurious yachts. During his work he became well experienced with all different aspects of tailormade craftmanship. Next to this he learned to respect details, constantly perform on a high level delivering high quality and understand and respect requirements of demanding customers.
After his study International Business, Mart ten Hove started working at Brink, office equipment where he learned the first principles of designing offices and project management. A few years later he continued his career as project manager at G-star and was responsible for store development all over Europe. Mart is very familiar within the retail industry and his broad network leads to the many opportunities.
Nejc Hribar grew up in an entrepreneurial family and started at an early age to work for his uncle’s construction company, while studying Economics. His drive to deliver the best, be responsible and stay calm and professional during the whole project are a few key words that describe Nejc perfectly.
With the combination of expertise Viceroys is able to handle any retail project from the drawing table till the opening of the store. We use a personal approach, which makes it easy to go through all your requirements and to respond quickly to changes that may occur during the project.
Retail construction is our core business; we know which standards are required. We work together with sub-contractors. Take pride in being on site all the time and making sure the work is done in time and with the high standards we require from everyone involved in our projects. Since the start we have quickly become the preferred partner to all retail corporations we have chosen to work with.
We believe that great quality starts with great people. Enthusiastic and skilled people make the foundation of our company. Viceroys always works with the same base crew, adding suitable workforce when needed. We have a wide network of craftsmen and sub-contractors in Europe. If we work abroad we try to complement our crew with a local, skilled workforce that know the environment and speak the language. An additional advantage of this strategy is that these people get familiar with the stores and can act fast in case of any post-project maintenance work after handover.
